Event's reworking please
Hello everyone, I'm sure some have seen me rant about the events. Well I would like to start a thread with ideas and no not a flaming thread. Please any event ideas you have post them lets try to make everyone happy with fresh ideas. I like the idea behind the TA SERIES event that have been going on, great idea with great winning's and fun. Now about extremes I know that's going to come up so unless they do away with extreme's or make a check box for no extreme's we will just have to use them. I'm sure it's a lot of work to do series event's, but all gaming mode's should be included with just as good payouts and prize's. Also I think most event's fail is because they are way to early in the day to have them. I am on the east coast and event's at noon mean that west coast has same event at 9am. Who is not working or at school at that time? very few are even online. Maybe a time change could be done? I know VS people say morello's will win, yes if you have a morello only event. Maybe keeping events for VS car restricted and not class restricted or even car and class restricted say Fortes class 6 VS SERIES. That way it's not maxed but not stock and now everyone has to find that sweet spot. I really would like to see all gaming mode's with a series championship and big prizes like what the current series is doing. Now please remember above extremes are here and we will have to use them no point on ranting about that until they fix it, should be easy fix since you can set class and car restriction and it auto changes if you have a correct car it should be able to do that with extremes also. Please be nice and stay on topic for the sake of the GM and GS having to read all the post, let's not waste there time with junk but use it for bettering the game. Thank you and I can not wait to the great idea's everyone has.

Well the BMW series, but.... >>>> : Class 5 Cobra coupe on DR X tracks, For: RS, we need events like that, or, if ppl would race it, Corall Spire for spiedo forte. the mini-me version for big kid version. 125i for 335i.l 335i for M3. M3 for M3 WGT3, etc. anyway, cobra coupe class 5 dr x tracks for RS. what bb said about extreme parts is very true. a speeding ticket boosts 30hp and 8mph. yeah, right.

A B-rally and related courses for class I cars. (Double max laps on all tracks)
Prizes: low RP/XP
An all Dirt series plus that one Togue track with the river crossing for the Buggy. (Double max laps on all tracks) Prizes: medium RP/XP
A couple California drift tracks plus the Kanagawa tracks for Phoenix/Akira. (Double max laps on Kanagwa)
Prizes: medium RP/XP
A Doctor X series for the Morello (All tracks at double or triple max laps)
Prizes: high RP/XP

No need to delete post, let show how drab and empty some people,s lives are. Out of this entire thread the biggest concern is I didn't push enter a few times. I'm guessing that,s a good thing because nothing negative about event,s was said. Now I find great humor in the fact someone was able to take the time to take a picture of a keyboard edit an arrow pointing at the enter key. Then uploading to this thread. Oh, and by the way I did this thread from my cheap phone and if I push enter it post's not makes a paragraph that is why it is just one huge paragraph. No need to tell me to get a better phone or use my pc, 3 kids a home and bills the last thing on my mind is getting a new phone. It works just fine making calls. Morello event failed but enough people did sign up just didn't show, that's a positive in my book. The more people see events are changing the more will start to sign up. This will take and not happen overnight we just need to wait and keep trying. Everyone have a great weekend and see you all monday. BBChevy

Any way to make event's with just stock car's? Not TA but no upgrades or tunning? Event idea: fwd car ( gs gm pick car) offroad ctf, max laps city tour #2, max laps on kidney, and final race explorer stunt track. Rewards I really dontknow maybe doublers, nos, extremes, buggy, forte, m3?

More and more events are cancelled because not all players which signed up for the event are online when they are supposed to.
Also I noticed that it takes the GS's a lot of RP to give the players a decent reward when they finish the event.
I have an idea which could help in both problems:
Have each player who signs on for an event put in a fee to participate (just as a reminder for them to show up). This RP can be used to spike the loot.

I don't know if it even would be possible to code it into the game. The RP should not be high, just a small eeh, "ante"? Let's say 1000 RP?
I don't know but if you already think it is a good idea maybe there are more players out there with the same mind, maybe someone could make a poll? Don't know how that works here and I don't know how well they normally get responded to....

A lot of players don't register for events for couple reasons. They think "why bother and waste my time, I have no chance to be on the top 3" or "the prices are worthless", or "consolation price sucks if I don't win" and I'm sure more reasons. What I'm trying to say here is, you don't get enough people now, if they have to pay for the event, for sure most will run. That's how I'm looking at your idea.
What I think can work better and it was suggested many times before is reduce the 8 players minimum to 6. I see this working out better. What I also have seen working with events is the consolation price. Look at class 1 event on Saturday. It has 2 packs of 2x's for consolation price, and if you go back and look the history of events, you will see it's the most successful event in the game.
